What time does IOS 5 release?

Will be out only at 10:00 (PST)

iOS 3 & 4 were also out at the sane time. 🙂

he`s probally right it will be 10 am pacific time if not the last time i was wating (ios 4.3) i got it at 8:30 eastern time we have to keep wating to see 🙂

It was clearly condescension. I've owned an Apple product since right around 1988 and one thing about some people who have thousands of posts that I've noticed tend to have this superiority complex. What they have however is an apparently abundant amount of time on their hands and instead of saying " yeah that *** but here is an article you might find interesting" you end up getting the response like you got. Which says basically "Hey I really don't have time for this..... its been stated multiple times..... so do some more rummaging around."

It's clearly been the reason why I tended to avoid these forums as much as possible.

REMEMBER: " ITS NOT WHAT YOU SAY< ITS HOW YOU SAY IT" this old addage applies to netiquette as well!

It was posted to make light of all the silly "when will iOS5 relase" posts. Those that believe it are way too embedded into their iPhone.

It will be here when it's here. It's just a phone update, not the cure for cancer. People need to get a life outside their iOS device. Just read through this and other related threads... people have some serious issues regarding this. Life should not be scheduled around a device update that can be done anytime after release.

I know you can download it from the Apple Developer site, it was released there a while ago so all app developers can preemptively update their apps so that there isn't any problems. Anyone else notice how 80% of your apps have updates today?

Connect you iphone with pc/mac and update the iphone to IOS 5. Iam updating it.

It's out right now as of 1:05 PM. Go connect your iDevice to iTunes and update.
