Here's the FIX for iCLOUD not sending the Verification Email.

I spent all day (yesterday) trying to resolve this. Here's my FIX.

1. Create a new email address (I made a new Gmail account)

2. Go to https://appleid.apple.com/

3. Click manage accounts.

4. Sign in (with old/original email address), and change your Primary email address to your NEW Address.

5. Your icloud should verify right away.

You make think creating a new email is to much work, but I tried everything, I even called apple and they wanted me to pay 29.99 for apple care.... I just wanted a FREE ANSWER and HERE IT IS.

Didn't want to, but I did what Favot suggested (easy for me since I manage my own domain) and it worked. However, it's totally ridiculous (and incompetent) that this issue has not been resolved by Apple. It's not hard to tell a person that the email address is associated with multiple IDs and what they can do about it. Instead, Apple, in its great wisdom and infallibility has deemed that the appropriate response is no response at all. No warning, no hint, no error, nothing. It just doesn't work. I call that arrogance and incompetence. Apple's attitude is "who cares."

I can understand your problem.Did you checked in your spam box if the email is there. And still if it is not there then you can verify it here ;- https://iforgot.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/DSiForgot.woa/wa/findYourAppleID?ap p_type=ext&app_id=93&returnURL=https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAp pleId.woa&language=US-ENUser uploaded file

I had the same problem. After much frustration, I found that I had two other, older Apple IDs (not email addresses) that used the the same email address as the one I was trying to create/convert my Apple ID to. Click on the link "Find Out" on the My Apple ID page to see if you have other Apple IDs associated with a particular email address. You need to log in to manage each unused Apple ID and change the associated email to something else; don't worry about verification. You can then sucessfully create and verify your desired email address as a new Apple ID and use it for iCloud, App Store . . .

I contacted Apple App Store Support via email at http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/ . It took several back and forth emails but they FINALLY fixed it for me. They were actually very responsive. Each reply email from them took an hour or less. I was surprised because I had heard so many complaints about the support people. But they were helpful, responsive and ultimately fixed the issue. I have no idea what they did but it suddenly worked. I dont know how you contacted the app store but try the link above and give it a shot. Nothing else worked for me so it can't hurt, right?

I had this same problem for over a hour. My problem is finally fixed. I clicked on "Reset your password" on this page " https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa?localang=en_US ". I actually received an email to change my password! After I changed my password, I logged back in and it then showed I was verified! Never received a verfication email.

hi,

If you downloaded your apps using an apple id (A) you cant update them using an apple id (B).

The same apple id wish was used to download must be used to update, else it will not and never work.

try to make sure that your apple id is correctly created :

https://iforgot.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/DSiForgot.woa/wa/findYourAppleID?ap p_type=ext&app_id=93&returnURL=https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAp pleId.woa&language=CA-EN

if not nothing will work

if yes, sent the email notification that the system will propose to you in the same page by clicking on NEXT button.

good luck.

Here's a workaround that will grant an email verification. This also bypasses the emergency email.

  1. Go to appleid.apple.com
  2. Click "Reset your Password"
  3. Now click the link that says "Forgot your Apple ID"
  4. Enter only the first three fields using the email that is your apple id.

After that, Apple ID will send an email with a link to reset password. Once the password is reset, you'll be able to "Manage your Apple ID" and change your security questions.

I call iPhone customer support around 3PM with the problem and was told that "there are over 57 million people trying to upload their iPhones so the servers are just bogged down."

I could understand that, but it's taken over 7 hours now - can't imagine they're that bogged down.

I was able to login to iCloud using an ID I created specifically for FaceTime; this ID ended in@mac.com. This worked. My trial and error was using apple account I use for iTunes payment and music. I think there is a disconnect between accounts. The funny part is that after I set iCloud they wanted to create another account for e-mail and notes with a @me.com account. Apple needs to create a way to merge accounts. This is big issue that needs to be fixed ASAP.
