Move Error

When I try to migrate my MobileMe account to iCloud I get the following message:


"Move Error


We encountered a problem while moving your mail. You can try to move your account to iCloud again in a few hours.


You can continue to use MobileMe"


Not very helpful...has anyone figured out how to remedy this situation?

I am stuck... started the process last night, received the same error message but kepting trying.


Before going to bed, I got to the "Moving your Mobileme Content..." screen... the progress bar has been stuck at about 10% (right below the "g" of moving" for 8 hours....


Any suggestons? If reload the page it does't do anything, and it says, "This process will continue even if this browser window is closed"... so it's not like I can refresh or boost it along.


Thoughts? Ideas?

I've gotten "Move Error" eight times now. I suppose it's a step up from an immediate "Due to heavy volume" message that I got 20+ times in a row.


But, what's frustrating is that I've tried this migration at all hours of the day. Are the Apple servers really so unable to handle roll-outs? At 4:30AM EST? Really?


Apple takes such care in packaging their products, and I've heard they do that to give the new user an impressive experience while they open their iPhone, iPad, iWhatever - you'd think that they might take a similar level of care with a rollout of a new service.


Because the last 36 hours, hasn't been an impressive experience for me.
