MobileMe to iCloud.com Migration Questions

Before I move my MobileMe account to iCloud, there are a lot of questions that remain.

MobileMe Aliases

What happens to my other 2 when I migrate to iCloud?

MobileMe allowed 5 aliases, but my test account for iCloud only shows that you can add 3.

MobileMe SMTP (Send As)

What happens to my SMTP accounts when I migrate to iCloud?

MobileMe allowed you to add other SMTP accounts that you could use to send email from.
For example, one of mine was my personal Gmail account.
My iCloud test account does not have this feature.

MobileMe POP3 (Remote Mail Retrieval)

What happens to my POP3 retrieval accounts when I migrate to iCloud?

MobileMe allowed you to add other POP3 account to retrieve email from.
For example, one of mine was my personal Gmail account.
My iCloud test account does not have this feature.
The combination of the SMTP and POP3 allowed me to consolidate my multiple email accounts.

MobileMe Mail Storage Size

When I migrate to iCloud, will my paid MobileMe upgrade also upgrade my iCloud account to 50 GB, or will I have to pay again?

I upgraded my MobileMe account to 60 GB.
The mail in my MobileMe account is larger than 5 GB.
I already know that iCloud will let you upgrade to 50 GB after my account has been created.

I have searched all over Apple's website and support documents and cannot find the answers to any of these questions.

If you have already moved to iCloud and know the answers, please share them.

Thanks,

Sam

Well, that's pretty miserable. I was just sitting here thinking about migrating over to iCloud this evening, but now I have to step back & decide what to do with a few hundred images on MobileMe in a dozen or so Galleries. Not many compared to other people I realize, but it's still going to be a pain.

I've used DropBox to make Galleries in the past, it's not as attractive or easily arranged as MobileMe is/was but it might just have to do for now. Bah.

I went into support chat and submitted the follwing request:

Greetings,

Please submit my request to the appropriate executive:

Please consider adding iDISK functionality to iCLOUD. I do not want to go to a 3rd party to replace iDISK. It is not appropriate for APPLE to eliminate iDISK in my opinion. There are thousands of customers relying on this system and we should not be forced to go outside APPLE to replace this!

Thanks

I am sure a similar request can be made about Gallery we need to make sure our voice is heard.

Please read the response!

Your request has been submitted to the Senior iCloud team and will be reviewed. We can not guarantee the feature will be added to the iCloud suite of features, but all feedback is welcome and reviewed.

We take great pride at Apple as a whole in keeping our users happy and are always listening to your suggestions and feedback with open ears.

As more requests for this feature to be added to iCloud are received, it increases the possibility of that feature being added to the service.

Again I would like to thank you for your request and feedback on iDisk not being continued with iCloud from MobileMe and can completely understand you reasonings for the request. We will be reviewing this information further and will move forward from there.

Time to rally the MobileME troups!!! Let's make ourselves heard! I am going to research how to send an effective US mail request for the same. Bust a move folks 😎
