Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I'm getting an iOS 5 Unknown Error 3200 during the iOS 5 installation process on my iPod Touch. Anyone else getting this? If so, any suggestions?
iTunes backed up the iPod and was doing a restore of iOS 5 when the error occured.

i had this problem gave me error message 3200, i turned off the anti virus after restarting the computer(windows vista) and restarting the phone. Turned off the sidebar, and closed any programs in the notifications section such as nokia ovi etc which load up when the computer starts also skype.
ha presto it began the process of transfering the file to the iphone4 and has now fully updated

I had the same issue, after taking advice from xayroseversky i deleted my ITUNES entry in LITTLE SNITCH and re added it. It finally worked after the 1900th time

No action was necessary. I tried the upgrade a few more times and finally it worked. Either Apple was not quite ready when I started the upgrade or the volume of people upgrading to iOS 5 was causing this error.
