iCloud calendar not syncing to iPhone, iCloud calendar not syncing to iPhone

On my phone, I have a calendar called Calendar. On my Mac, and on iCloud.com, I have Work and Home. I cannot find an option to get the Work and Home sent out to the phone... any help?

iPhone 4, Mac OS X (10.7.1), iOS 5

I've been having the same problem since iOS 5 beta... I can't make it work! I see my calendar events on icloud.com and on my iPad, but not on my phone... my last resource would be to re-setup icloud... (disabling my icould account on my iPhone and enabling it again)

I am still having trouble synching the calendars on my mac, iCloud, and iPhone. The only calendar that is correct is on the Mac. I have reset iCloud but that didn't work. All of my calendars are "checked" and I think I've done everything else I could make out of these posts. Here are a few screen shots.
This is of my home computer:

I'm not sure where to go from here. You can see by looking at the iCloud and the Mac calendars, that not all of the info is transfered over. Do you have any thoughts?

Thanks!

The best way to test if all your 'connections' are ok is to make a new entry to a calendar and see if it is synced across the devices. If yes then it may be a limitation of your OS that previouly entered dates will not sync. Since all your calenders are visible on all the hardware this is the most likely explanation.

I created a new calendar on the Mac, called Test. I need to create the same calendar on iCloud? I did that, and both calendars show up, but the "events" aren't showing up on iCloud. I tried to refresh the iPhone and that isn't picking up the new calendar either.

I upgrade to Lion, so I believe I have the most recent OS. What is interesting is that iCloud picks up some of the events and the iPhone picks up others...and that even on iCloud, if it picks up "work", it only picks up SOME of those work events...but not all.

Other things that are suppose to synch via the cloud automatically don't...i.e. when I change something in iTunes, even though it's set to synch via iCloud, I have to connect it to the cord and synch manually.

Other thoughts?

I was having the same problem to no end. Finally! I fixed it. See if this works for you. I am syncing my macbook pro, iphone and icloud with icloud.

First, I went to my macbook pro and under system preferences I opened icloud. I "unchecked" calendar. It alerted me that my ical would not sync to icloud if I proceeded and I said "ok".

Second, I rebooted my computer

Lastly, I went back to system preferences and icloud and rechecked ical. At that point it said it was loading ical and after that all was well 😮!

Make sure before you do this that you plug in your iphone and check to see that you are not syncing with itunes. I think that is where things go messed up with me. In itunes if you have your phone plugged in you will see your device. Look under info and make sure you don't have "sync ical calendars" checked. If you do, first uncheck and then follow the steps above.

Hopefully this is of help. It seems if you don't have everything perfect, icloud gets confused. Good Luck!

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before or not, but I just painstakingly went through all of my calendar entries that were stored under my gmail calendar and reassigned them either to "work" or "home." After, of course, I tried everything else, making sure that the gmail calendar was clicked to "on" on all of my devices - it was - tried rebooting all 3, no luck.....anyway when I sat at my desk with iCloud open, iPad and iPhone on, I clicked on every single gmail calendar entry and reassigned it. It instantly popped up on the icloud and iPad. I was lazy about it before and just entered events on whatever calendar happened to be "open" at the time, which for some reason was defaulted to the gmail calendar. After I make absolutely certain I haven't missed an entry, I'm going to delete my gmail from the possible calendars on all 3 devices because apparently only the work and home calendars are reliable.

OK guys, here's my story. I have a secondary scheduler at my office that syncs data to Microsoft Outlook. From Outlook I use iCloud to connect to: Outlook on my home computer, iPad and my iPhone. Everything worked except my iPhone. I simply deleted the iCloud account on my iPhone and reinstalled it or, rather, signed in again. It took a little while but now they all talk together. AT LEAST FOR NOW!

I followed the instructions that Angel posted and it absolutely worked! Thank you. Not often stumped with Apple issues, but this one was puzzling.

Apologies if this is redundant but as of today, 5-Apr-2012, it looks like people are still having various problems with syncing calendars.

Mine:-

I have an iCloud account

I have Outlook on a PC

I have an iPhone

I just want ONE calendar, on which I will have all my events listed: personal, home, work, entertainment - everything.

I want this one calendar to appear on my Outlook and my iPhone.

And whenever I add or amend an appointment in Outlook, I want it to be reflected on my iPhone.

And whenever I add or amend an appointment on my iPhone, I want it to be reflected in Outlook.

Surely this should be possible?

My iCloud account has only one calendar listed, which is called "Home".

All my appointments are visible on iCloud in this calendar.

Outlook shows two calendar menus:-

1) "My Calendars" -> "Calendar - Outlook Data File": this one is UNCHECKED (sorry for the caps).

2) "iCloud" -> "Home": this one is CHECKED.

All my appointments are visible on Outlook on this calendar.

This makes sense, but I don't know whether Outlook is taking the data from iCloud or vice-versa

My iPhone is the problem:-

in "Settings" -> "iCloud"

- I have tried switching "Calendars" off and then on again

- I have tried "Deleting Account" - which doesn't seem to be that drastic because all I have to do afterwards to 'reinstall' it is to log back in again

inside the actual Calendar app, I have tapped the button at the top-left and the only calendars which appear are:-

1) "iCloud" -> "Home" - this is CHECKED

2) "Other" -> "Birthdays" - this is UNCHECKED

I figured I would have to cease using the calendar app on my iPhone and instead, use Safari to log into iCloud control panel.

But it won't let me.

Whenever I try to log onto iCloud control panel from my iPhone, using the same URL as I use from my PC, I am taken to the basic Apple page which lists the four easy steps to setting up iCloud on your iPhone.

This is where I am stumped.

I don't need to set up iCloud on my iPhone - it is already set up and the various settings appear to be correct, yet the appointments on my iCloud account aren't appearing!

Any ideas anyone?

Currently I am having to use a paper diary while I am out and about, and then update my Outlook/iCloud diary every time I get home. The iPhone is useless to me right now in terms of diarizing.

Sorry if all this is verbose - I'm just trying my best to be clear and comprehensive.

thanks
