I keep getting error -34 and my phone won't complete upgrade to iOS 5 and add my backup data. Help
iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.3
Same here. Ready to figure out whats going on. Says it can't complete updrade because the iphone could not be restored or something like that. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks this worked for me too. Now it has stopped the upgrade, the restore and it is syncing all my music again. THANKS!

Your previous post said that you could not get 5.0 installed. What did you do to get 5.0 running?
This morning. My issue is with the syncing of data not iOS5! I cannot restore to backup therefore I have no music. No films. No ringtones etc on my phone.
Hmm it think mine will take just as long
I just plugged my phone back in but it's started the restore again :(
The best thing to do is to be patient and to wait for the next patch or update.
