iOS 5 Update failed and iPhone 4 stuck on Apple Logo/Loading circle cycles

iOS 5 Upgrade never completed and now my iPhone 4 is stuck in a cycle between "Apple Logo" and "Loading Circle"...somebody please help me either get through the update or revert back to iOS 4?

I had the same problem today. I phoned Apple who wanted to charge me £25 for the help !!!!. Went on a web site and amended the host file. Works OK. Bad customer service that Apple wanted to charged me for help. GREEDY.
