iMessage can't seem to verify my number, its the same with Facetime
All it says is verifying number, and as a result it doesn't work
Any help? or someone else getting this?

OK...I've fixed my issue:
Go to: Settings>iMessage> switch off.
Go to: Settings>Facetime> switch off.
I noticed that in: Settings>Phone> that "My number" was unknown (go check yours now)
When I tried to click on the "Unknown" to input the number...it would not allow me to.
Go to: Settings>Airplane mode> Turn off. Wait a moment, then switch back on and go back to: Settings>Phone>
You should be allowed to input your number including country code.
Check to see if "My Number" has been updated.
Go to: Settings>iMessage> switch back on.
Go to: Settings>Facetime> switch back on.
Phone number is verified in both Facetime and iMessage.

Try quitting the SETTINGS APP and re-launching it. This worked for me.
Resetting my iPhone settings fixed the problem for me. Thanks for the tip.

Go to this site on Youtube. It is very simple and easy to follow.
Just go to settings> turn Restrictions on> turn FaceTime off and then on>check to see if facetime and imessage is fixed >turn restrictions off

Also have it with FaceTime. Phone number doesn't get verified only email.
I've tried practially everything!!!!!
Tried that before and still have iMessages and FaceTime stuck on verifying number.
Close the settings app completely then open it back up again. Then go back to iMessage setting and the phone number should work for iMessage.
