I hope someone can help me. I have updated my imac and my ios devices for the icloud. The calendar is working great. The problem I am having is that my address book had been duplicated. Everyone of my contacts are in twice (only on my imac). All my other devices are singular entries. Any thoughts on this?

One more observation ...
I learned that BOTH contacts and groups have to be deleted for the sync to work properlly. I had been holding onto my old groups in the hopes of re-populating them. But each time I attempted to sync back to iCloud, nothing would happen. My local contacts were present, but no contacts appeared in iCloud.
As soon as I deleted the groups ... voila, iCloud sync'ed with my local contacts and the two groups merged.
