Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
So, I updated to iOS 5, and for some reason it decided that the App store, iTunes, Reminders, and even the iCloud email confirming I setup my iCloud, is in French??!!!
I live in Quebec, so hopefully it doesn't assume I only speak French......The problem is, everything is in English before the iOS 5 update, is there any way I can get back to normality......I want everything back to English, please help!

Just had same problem, depsite having location settings all turned off.
Solution is easy, I decided to proceed and installed an app, iplayer actually, once selected next thing all changed back again to english again.
Think point about language preference being random is the problem, basically log in and log out.....poor solution though

it worked with restoring for me, but before I went online and changed languge preferences
I would recommend to everybody with the same problem to try your solution first before using the restore option
Same problem here. I live in Greece, but I don't want it in Greek!! I want my ipad back to english!!!

hi! go on your account online and change your default language from greek to english. here is the link https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, click on manage your account, enter your account, then change the language options
