Finder 'Smiley Mac face' icon blurred in Dock

Not really a problem but kind of annoying, when I minimize a window in Finder and then hover over it with my mouse in the dock I noticed the 'Smiley Mac face' is blurred.
Any idea what causes this? never seen it happen before on any of my Macs apart from my new Dual Core.
Thanks.

Hi, If you minimize a window in Finder into the dock, run your mouse over it and you will see the minimized window in the doc with a nice shiny Finder Mac smiley face attached to it right? (yep Im using magnification btw)
Well the Mac smiley face on the minimized windows in my dock is blurred and it looks awful.
Not a problem just so annoying, but just one of those weird Mac OS things which happen from time to time I guess but still I wonder why the heck it is doing this?
Cheers

Activated zoom. Mine seems fine. I even tried making the dock icons really small and then set the zoom settings to max. The icons scales fine. Maybe the dock is forgetting to scale it properly.

Could you try making the dock icons smaller. Then set the zoom to max. I think it would likely make it look even blurrier. If that's true, then the dock is failing to redraw the icon to meet accomodate the larger size, it's just using the exact same icon, and it ends up looking very blurry when made really large. That's just my hunch on this. I don't know specifically what OS X does to render the dock, just some surface knowledge.
