After upgrading to iCloud, iCal doesn't send invitation anymore

Same problem here - people are not getting my invitations from iCal or iPhone after upgraded to iCloud.

Maybe did not set up all your devices yet? If you upgraded iPhone to iOS5 you also need to set up iCloud on your other devices such as iPad or MAC.

All devices are updated with iCloud - Mac, iPad and iPhone. I've sent invitations to different people frome different devices but no one gets them...

Same problem here. Suddenly no one receive invites from me. They were receiving yesterday before switching.

Exactly same problem here. iCal stubbornly refuses to send invitations after the switch to iCloud. My devices are all correctly set.

Same problem here too. I followed the requirements to the "T". iCal won't send my invites.

I also created an Event on the web, ie straight into iCloud's Calendar (as oppose to my Macbook, iPad or iPhone). Still, nothing was sent. Must be something with iCloud.

Any suggestions?

I've found some other people discussing this recently in the internet (although not as many as I thought) so it seems to be a generalized problem.

I wouldn't want to swtich back to local calendar and sync everything back but this is an annoying problem becase there's no way you can know if the invite went out or not.

Did someone find an official acknowledge of this or something like that? I'm not sure if it's something in our configuration that's causing the problem. My Apple ID email is my personal email address and my calendar used to send invites through my work account (which is the only account configured in my mac currently). I'm not sure what mechanism does iCloud use to send the invites (it didn't work in any device or even in iCloud.com itself).

Suffering from the same problem. Have tried several things with no luck. Embarassing to have to ask people to send me invitations since I can't send them myself! I think it sends from your default email account which isn't my .me account.

Has anyone seen any suggested fixes??

Had the same problem here. But when i checked again this morning, it suddenly worked.

The only weird issue is that my co-worker received the invite with the subject being: "@@SubText@@" or something like that (I don't recall exactly).

Emails are now being sent out but my friends are reporting they can't add the event to their google cal

Still not working for me. I have my iCloud email turned off, but even when it was on it didn't work.

I've always had email turned off (I couldn't cope with another new email account) and it started working for me this morning.

I only tried twice so I don't know if it's still working. I hope it is :-)
