how do you send iMessage to iPad from iphone, I cannot type "@" in message

I have my ipad updated and set it to use my email for the imessage in my iPad

then, I realized that I cannot type "@" in the imessage in iPhone (therefore, cannot type mail address)

how to do send an imessage from iPhone to iPad?

hi there..just want to share my solution to the problem. yes you need to enable mms messaging at the message setting to have '@' and '.' so you can add email to imessage.in order to have the mms messaging enable, your iPhone must have the mms setting configured in the general>network>celular data network>mms.

either you contact your carrier service provider or configure the mms setting manually.then voilla..you gonna see the mms messaging enabled in the message setting.hope this will help.thank you.
