Can't Add Reminders in new Reminder App on iOS5

Hello

I can't add reminders in the new Reminders App on iOS5?

Looking online it tells me to add new reminders by pressing the + button....but this just doesn't appear anywhere for me??

Any ideas?

If I slide my finger left/right it just takes me to the Completed page and the next day and beyond

Open reminders. Wipe down until you see New List +. Select New List. Type a name, such as Daily Items. You now have a new list. Select Daily Items. Touch the first line. Create a new reminder name. Select ℹ and enter reminder specifics. Scroll down to where it says "list" and select Reminders. This action will move your reminder to the Reminders list. Baby, you have succeeded!

Great thanks! This worked for me.

Prior to trying this, i could not add any reminders or create a new list. In settings > reminders the default list was just blank.

I had to turn off reminders in settings > icloud as well settings > mail (etc) and inside each of my mail accounts. It asked whether all my reminders could be deleted, which i was not happy about but did it anyway. Low and behold, all my old reminders now show up, nothing was deleted.

Now, in settings > reminders my default list shows "reminders" and i can see my reminders list and edit and add reminders.

I don't know what apple did to screw this up, but i can't use reminders now together with any exchange mail or icloud. The moment any if these are enabled, all my reminders disappear and i can't add any new lists.

OK so I finally figured out the solution to my problem. Turning on Reminders App in iCloud settings like Sky12345 suggested was a good work around to the problem but not a total solution. I went to the settings > Mail,Contacts,Calendars then selected my msn mail account and reminders was selected there when it should not have been selected. So all along the reminder app was trying to sync with my msn account so it would not allow the app to work properly on its own. I do not use iCloud to sync my phone I use my iMac to backup my iPhone so I did not want to have to turn on my iCloud just to make the reminders app work properly.
