Music App. In iOS 5 doesn't show Lyrics

Hello everybody. Yesterday I updated my iPad 2 with iOS 5. Now in the Music App the Lyrics don't appear anymore. I'm very disappointed and angry about that. Can anybody please tell me if it is a bug or if this was made intentionally. I hope tat this is a bug because the iOS 5 manual for the iPad (Ipad userguide for ios5 - downloaded from ibooks) shows on page 218 the following: "Display a song’s lyrics

Display the album cover by tapping the thumbnail at the top of the screen. Lyrics appear if you’ve added them to the song using the song’s Info window in iTunes." If it is a bug, when will it be fixed? If it is no bug, then I want to go back to its 4.3.5. Can anybody tell me how that would work?

Best Regards

Have the same problem viewing lyrics on iPad 1 upgraded with iOS5. Very upset about this because I use this feature professionally as a musician. The new music player for iPad under iOS5 leaves a lot to be desired. Classic example of trying to fix something that was never broken. Apple PLEASE listen to your customers and fix this NOW. Lyrics and music go hand in hand. How did this happen?

Oh wow. You guys arent going to believe how i fixed it. I didnt even think about till now, im so stupid! I wasnt getting LED notifications at first either, till I followed the instructions from a user here, Avlnch. I used those same instructions with the "enabling Lyrics" setting button in my phone settings, and now lyrics work. Try this, again Avlnch came up with this and basically singlehandedly fixed led notifications for me AND lyrics now:

1. Turn LED Alert off.

2. Press Home.

3. Press Power+Home buttons at same time and keep both pressed until the apple logo appears during startup. Letgo.

4. Go to Settings/General/Accessibility/

5. Find the LED Alert option that shows its self switched off.

6. Press and hold on the LED Alert's Off Switch.

7. DRAG THE SWITCH to the ON position.

8. If your custom vibrate setting isn't turned off then:

9. Like #7 DRAG the custom vibe switch to the OFF position.

10. Press HOME BUTTON.

Now have someone text you or set a one minute alarm to check it.

Two or more of the 10 steps fix the problem. I don't have time to narrow down exactly which ones. I did at one point have the LED Flash Alert and Custom Vibe on and working together, I'm almost positive. So if you get it working and like the custom vibe feature then try turning the vibe back on via dragging (not pressing) the switch.

UPDATE:

Reminded of where the settings were in this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3387461?answerId=16470800022#16470800022

Unfortunately, the Settings\Music on the iPad does not have an option for "Lyrics & Podcast Info." That's my specific feedback i'm giving at http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html: bring back that option on the iPad Music settings.

It would be great, if any ipad2 User who bought his device within the last 90 Days would call Apple Support to ask why the lyrics are not shown within the music app and when (or if) it will be fixed. And it would be even better to post the answer here, so that everybody could read about the result.

Explanation: New Apple ipad2 customers get 90 days free technical support. I would do it myself, but my support has expired. So any feedback from you guys via the technical support here would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.
