Missing iCloud Confirmation Email

same here. their systems page says this issue is fixed... but its not

Same here also, I have tried from appleid.com,iphone, macbook and haven't received any email yet. Maybe only servers are busy...

Should I be reassured that I'm not alone? Paid my 5p a minute to Apple this morning to be told that there was a backlog in sending out confirmation emails but she wasn't able to tell me how long I'd have to wait. It's been nearly 24 hours so far.

I'm sure this is not a backlog problem.

See a post I put up a few minutes ago - in short my primary email will not send a verification, but I added an alternate and received the verification mail in 3 SECONDS. So there is something about your apple id and mine that is killing the sending of the verificaton email. That's what I think, anyway.

I agree Steve. My email provider is Cox. I remember when I got my first iPhone verifying my email address was a problem back then. An apple store employee told me then that verifying with cox was an issue a lot of the time. Support told me today to wait 24 hours but I will be surprised if anything changes.

Me too. Never getting any confirmation email. Tried now for two days but I never receive any. Also can't get a confirmation when signing in at appleid.apple.com... Seriously!

Changed my email address and signed in immediately with no need for a confirmation email. Definitely not a problem with back log. However, now my icloud email address isn't my main email and I see no way to fix that or change it. Bring on the bug fixers for this OS.

Same problem here. Try to add iCloud, just always says check email, I check email, never receive the confirmation email.

I got the same problem here .. its been about 4 hours now .. i called Apple Care .. seems the servers are a little overloaded.

I don't think the problem is overloaded servers. I tried my standard email address for two days but it wouldn't work. Then I tried changing it (at appleid.apple.com) to another one and immediately I got the confirmation email. Unfortunately there seems to be a problem on the Apple servers somewhere since I cannot change my email back to my standard one - it simply will not save the email address. It's NOT that I don't get a confirmation email it's that Apples servers determines there's something wrong with my email and refuses to even save it. I can't exit the page without it asking something like "you've not saved your changes, would't you like to?" and of course I click "Yes" (or "Save" perhaps) but it won't save. It will continue to ask that until I just close the window instead.

No idea what's up with Apples servers of course - but it's not that they're overloaded since my backup email got the confirmation within 10 seconds. Too bad I'm not allowed to use my email address of 8 years. No reason why and I'm not given an error or anything.

I clicked to resend confirmation email numerous times...I was told that the server was busy. Finally it is saying that apple resent the confirmation email...but I'm not seeing anything in my inbox.

You can try to login to AppleID site and edit your conflicted email adress changing it with other one of yours, then try to verify that new email address, it worked with me.

Worked with mine too. didn't work on my gmail. but worked on my hotmail. So tried changing back to my gmail, and it still didnt work. Wonder why.
