Yahoo! email not pushing

Same for me. Started working about 10-15 minutes ago. I expect it will be intermittent until the problem is resolved.

Some people who have posted recently might have missed the earlier posts that say Yahoo is aware of the push problem and is working to resolve it. No need to fiddle with your iPhone or iPad, just give it time.

NEWSFLASH - yes indeed - seems to be pushing. Just did some tests. Now we will just see if it lasts.

I also posted on Thursday the yahoo smtp servers appeared to be down (both for my paid bizmail account and the free account). They came back on Friday. Now push appears to be working. Related? Who cares!

Just glad push appears to be back - albeit for who knows how long.

I've been getting my push mails now too, at least for the last 45 minutes or so. Maybe your timing was just perfect with the changes you made and coincided with Yahoo getting this thing fixed. Regardless, hopefully it is working for everyone now and hopefully KEEPS working.

Mine is working now too. From everyone's updates, this is very encouraging.

My yahoo mail just started pushing about an hour ago. I did not change any setting inside my phone. I checked the setting that were mentioned earlier, and my Mail has been setup in the notifcation center since I purchased my phone.

Since I began reporting this issue I found a push or two go through, mostly as other people were reporting, where a few Yahoo e-mails would come through, but nothing steady. I see a few people reporting that since they played around with their settings it worked, however I firmly believe that Yahoo may have finally fixed this issue today. The "messing around with settings" is merely a coincidence.

I too can confirm that at the time of making this post Push is working again!

Seems the issue is fixed.

- I would like to know how can I add another folder than Inbox for pushing my mails.

In my exchange mail I can see Mail Folder to Push option, but for Yahoo account there is nothing like that, any clues?

Thanks to all who posted that this is working again. I can also confirm that push is working on my phone without changing anything.

I was having the same problem. Yahoo! Mail stopped pushing after upgraded to iOS 5. Extremely annoying.

Had been researching for months for a solution. Tried everything I read: a clean restore, reboot, hard reboot, reset, reset network settings, tweaking the settings in Notifications, removing the account before re-adding it, changing the password, etc. Everything! Sadly, nothing was working.

Yahoo! does acknowledge that there is indeed a problem at their end.

Three days ago I came across NeuvaSync:

It is a cloud-based, third-party mobile syncing service. I have been using it for the last three days to push my Yahoo! Mail and it works!

It might be working for some users but as far as I am concerned, it is still not pushing. My NeuvaSync is pushing but not my Yahoo! Mail.

Yeah, mine was pushing for awhile, but it's not now. Sheesh!

Mine is still working. This is weird.
