Yahoo! email not pushing

Having problems recieving my yahoo email on my iPhone 4 after installing iOs 5. It sends emails (I sent test emails to my other email accounts on my phone and they went through) Just my yahoo email not coming in. I've tried everything I can think of .... help?

So based on this response, Yahoo thinks the issue is fixed. I'm curious is anyone else that has been having issues has seen any resolution? I'm not sure if Yahoo is just blowing smoke or if they really did fix the issue. If they fixed it and we are still having problems, obviously they are "fixing" the wrong thing.


On another mail related issue, has anyone else had the little red number indicating the # of new mail disappear? When new email shows up in my mailbox, I no longer get the red icon. UGH! It shouldn't be this frustrating getting email! Hope everyone else is having better luck!

While that sounds all well and good, I was skeptical that "Sven" actually fixed anything. Currently, I have 2 Yahoo "accts" set up on my phone - the regular Yahoo and a POP account. My POP account pushes pretty regularly but the regular Yahoo only fetches. I have barely computer literate 🙂 so I have no idea what the difference is but it seems to work better than before (when it wasn't working at all). There are instructions on how to set up your Yahoo as a POP a few pages back. If you haven't tried this, you might want to give it a shot until Yahoo can get their crap together. I plan on email Sven back today to tell him his "fix" did not fix the problem.

Received similar response from Yahoo yesterday. Email has been pushing since last night.
