Updating to version 9.2 isn't possible.

iCloud has finally been released to public. I had high expectations for the photo streaming feature.
For this to work, it said I needed to update iPhoto (9.2) so iCloud could sync photos.
When I click "Check for updates" in iPhoto it doesn't show the update I need. I've checked the Appstore and it already has the iCloud update for iPhoto.

iPhoto was already installed on Snow Leopard. I'm currently running the latest version of Lion (with iCloud) and iPhoto is version 9.1.5.

Not sure if you still need an answer, but I had the exact same problem, and here was the solution that worked for me:

Your iPhoto app has to be in your "Applications" folder. It can't be in a subfolder that you created. As soon as I moved iPhoto out of the subfolder and back into the main Applications folder, clicking on Software Update from the Apple menu recognized it right away and updated to version 9.2.

I'm running Lion 10.7.2 and iLife 11 was pre-installed.

Hope this helps.
