When you connect your iPad to your computer, select your iPad from the devices list in iTunes. You will see a series of tabs in the window that say things such as; "summary," "info'" etc. select the "Apps" tab. From here, you will see a long list of all of the applications in your iTunes library. On the bottom of the list, you will see. checked box that is followed by the statement, "Automatically sync new apps." Uncheck this box. Now, in the list of the apps in your library, you will see that everything already has a check next to it. Uncheck the apps that you do not want to sync. The next time you sync your device, it should only sync the content that you have selected. Beat of luck.
