Anyone else experienced this issues on the iPod Touch 4G (upgraded to iOS 5) ? :

- homescreen sometimes frezees for a few seconds after unlocking the screen

- facebook (updated for iOS 5) and youtube (in scrubbing) apps are a bit lagging

- "sometimes touchscreen doesn't respond to my touch I have to tap it a few times for it to work." (quote from another forum)

- "when the iPod is locked and I double click the home button to change the song it pauses the first song, then changes which is really annoying because music just pauses for a second." (quote from another forum)

- "If you go to the usage and statistics settings under General > About you can see all the error reports that your iPod is sending to Apple. A lot of the errors for me are low memory errors." (quote from another forum)

Hey guys!
I also have problems with my iPod Touch 4G 32GB... Homescreen ALWAYS frezees for 3 seconds after unlocking which also frezees for 2 seconds. Also it happened to me that the WHOLE MUSIC APP crashed and I had to start it again. I also had Cover Flow problems (frezees, laging, etc.) but after turning off almost the WHOLE NOTIFICATION CENTER and iCloud, Cover Flow is a little better BUT no perfect like it was before the update to iOS 5. The videos starts a lot slower and the iPod "thinks" longer before doing what you want it to do. Today also happed to me that my Touchscreen stopped responding for 10 seconds when I tapped WI-FI in Settings. I also checked the Error Reports to Apple which the iPod sends automatically and it's an ENORMOUS list of errors and bugs about the lack of memory in various scenarious of usage.

The iOS 5 has a great idea but there is a need for a BIG update to 5.0.1 because the iOS 5 is quite unstable in my opinion...

This problem about the Music App completely *****, at first I thought the iOS 5 was the best thing that ever happened to my iPod, I checked a few apps, a lot of them seemed to work just fine, I used iMessages with no problem whatsoever.

Obviously, I didn't check the Music App, I mean what would it be wrong? Mistake! It is a mess! a complete mess! Cover flow is terribly slow, a lot of album art magically dissapeared, to be honest, this really bothers me, an iPod is supposed to be use in the first place as a "portable music device" so the fact that the Music App doesn't work is something big, Apple should take care of this situation ASAP, IMO all the other features could be great but without the MUSIC, this just ***** let's face it! BTW I also have problems with the screen, sometimes you tap on it and It doesn't respond as quick as It should be.

Other than that everything seems to work OK... so far...

Wow. I thought I was the only one with this problem.
But I'm not that ******, even though the Cover Flow lag is very 'bug' -ging.
iOS 5 is amazing, but these bugs should be covered with the Delta update. Who knows, maybe Apple did this s*** intentionally to show-off the new Wi-Fi update feature. {No offence.}

@Apple: Please work on these bugs. Otherwise, I <3 iOS 5. Thank you soooo much!

Well, I can confirm that restoring the device fixes the sluggish behaviour and lags right after unlocking. My iPod Touch 4th gen 32GB seems to be as fast as it was with iOS4. However, the Cover Flow problem remains exactly the same. I would consider downgrading, but iOS5 finally brough grouping artists from compilations, which was a long desired for feature. If I had to choose between the two, I guess I have to do without Cover Flow.

It's really unfortunate that Apple cripples its own devices this way. I remember that the same thing happened to my iPod Touch 1st gen. After upgrading to iOS3 or 4 it became slow bordering on unusable.

This *** big time. The problem existed since Day 1 the iOS 5 was released, till now it's been almost a month. I'm surprised that Apple hasn't release an update to address this issue that many people are experiencing. Together with many of the other issues like, extremely laggy on Chinese hand writing etc.. What's going on man, Music/iPOD app is one of the most fundamental app on iPhone....
