WiFi sync "computer not available"

I have downloaded io5 and the latest version of itunes. I have synced my ipad with the option checked for wifi sync. However, I cannot get the wifi sync button to ungrey on my ipad (or iphone for that matter) while connected to a pwer source. I can access the itunes library over home sharing. How do I make my computer available for sync?

Jimbo's fix also worked for me, but in addition to changing my Wifi router to only use WPA2-PSK AES encryption I also had to force the router to use 802.11n only (my router was originally configured to do 802.11b/g/n).
