Twitter won't let me tweet a photo

Thanks so much. It ws bugging the heck out of me. So simple. It worked. I don't know why it didn't work when I uninstalled the app and reinstalled though. For some reason when I went to twitter under settings it was telling me that my username/password was incorrect. I was still able to send tweets though not pics. Did what you said and it worked! Thanks a ton!

Found this string due to a similar issue I just had on my phone. Wasn't a photo, but I wonder if the solution I found would work for photos as well.

I was trying to quote a tweet and add a comment. I was using up all of my characters (Twitter app showed 0 left) but kept failing and saving a draft. I finally decided to try the tweet on my computer. Copied and pasted the original tweet, added my comment and I was 2 characters over! I checked everything and apparently there was some bug in the iPhone app's character counter. Even though it showed 0 characters left and allowed me to click "Tweet" it was over the 140 limit!

I did a quick edit on my phone to remove two characters from the saved draft, clicked "Tweet" and it went through! I wonder if the app's character counter for some of these photos is messing up as well, and if you make some more room you won't have the issue any longer??

I see no solution to any of these claims to the same or similar issue. : / I'm sure it's to do with the device and Apple because I can see the tweet on my MacAir yet not on my iPod touch and I had to post the image via twitter on my MacAir and that in turn shut down my twitter on the iPod Touch to the point that my tweets and timeline aren't visible and after deleting the twitter app thinking I"d reinstall it, the app store has closed shop and I am unable to access apps in the store nor can I update ANY apps.
