I've tried this too, with no luck. Thought I set it up when I first set up my new iPhone. I've gone through iCloud in Settings on the phone. It says to check my email for verification, but there's no email there. I went through the apple site....manage my Apple ID, clicked Verify, and still no email. 😟

Anyone know how to add devices to my account? I've had an account with only an iPod for a long time. So my PC has iTunes for synching. I recently got an iPad and now the iPhone. When I connected my iPhone to my PC for synching, it says it's not associated with my Apple ID. So when I used my new phone to download an app, I got a warning email about possible fraudulent activity.

I made my problem leagues worse by deleting the new Apple ID I was forced to create when I updated to IOS5 - thinking I could just log in with my regular Apple ID. IT says my regular ID is not 'verified' even though I verified it over a year ago. And when I click 'verify' it sends me nothing.

I am locked out of iCloud, FaceTime and the App store. I can still limp around iTunes using my regular apple ID but that's it.

I can't believe how seriously screwed up this is and no seeming solution to be found. I cannot go to Apple ID and achieve any of the solutions people keep suggesting because my regular ID refuses to 'verify' and the 2nd one I created (and never verified) no longer exists - was deleted.

I have the same problem. Tried verifying from link but nothing happens. At one point got message that I needed to fill out a form to support. Did this. Don't know how long to wait for reply. Most times most sites send confirmation of receipt. But nothing in more than 10 minutes.

The last thing I wanted to do was to create a new account. There are too many ways things can become confused. Was forced to when bought my iPhone 4S. Result to this point is learning there is another way changing account names is the wrong thing to do.

By the way, I have read in several places that iCloud is STILL in beta. Can't believe that Apple would release a beta product.

I know some in this thread have found success. If you discovered a "trick", please share it.

Please advise,
