YES. Most definitely you are making a number of erroneous and presumptive assumptions.

I am a female who would prefer (and changed Siri) a female voice.

Did you miss Pride day/week/month? That is what the rainbow is symbolic of: humans are unique in and of themselves and no one should put anyone in a "box". (Especially to go and make assumptions about people one has put in said "box")

In the same place you turned Siri on, change the language. UK English is the man, US English is the woman as featured in all the demos. The only problem is the fact that the US one expects an American accent, so it's slightly more difficult to make it understand you.

Settings - General - Siri - switch to on. This is where you can change the voice too - different voices and accents for different languages. :)

Hi, So I guess when using Siri in French we are stuck with a male voice, using it with US american we are stuck with a female voice. Is that correct?

One is English to the core; if one is to have a male voice, one would prefer it to be more Jeeves-ish, and perhaps call one "Sir". "Nick" seems overfamiliar for a servant 🙂

Yes - if you change Siri to Englaish US or English Australian, you get a female voice - all others male.

However, who knows what cultural traps lie in wait 😀
