Address Book "Edit Distribution List" not working in Lion 10.7.2

I have been told by people in my "Groups" that I am sending to the wrong e-mail addresses. I checked and sure enough so I went to edit the distribution list for that group and it's greyed out. It worked prior to this update. My wifes is still using 10.7.1 and edit didtribution list is not greyed out.....anyone having the same issue or any ideas where it is now or how to re-enable it....or is it just broken? Also I am contented into iCloud.

Same with me. Called applecare and they told me there is no way to get it to work with iCloud or MobileMe. I then told them it always worked with MobileMe but now I'm stuck.

The only work around I have found is to disable contacts in icloud and then you can edit your distribution list but can not reanable icloud or it reverts back.

What a pain. Im really starting to dislike iCloud... Loosing iDisk was a really big deal to me now I'm loosing another one of the biggest features I used.

If anyone finds another fix please let me know...

I figured out a work around for this.

I created a new email and used the group name to add all the email addresses. then I went through each email address and picked the email address I wanted for each person. I then saved the email as custom stationary and named it the same as the group.

When I created a new email and picked the saved stationary it added all the correct email addresses I wanted.

It's not perfect but it seemed worked. The unfortunate thing is I don't think the custom stationary will save accross all my computers.

This would be a real pain for a big group but it's better then nothing...

Hope this helps everyone

Update: Apple Care called me back yesterday and "engineering" is now well aware of the situation, because of many other complaints, and they are working to get a fix out.....when? So at this point the only temp fix is to edit your address book manually and place the address you want to use at the top of the list. If you use the same contact in multiple lists and require their other address.....your buggered!

Here is another possible solution.

It seems you don't have to turn off iCloud syncing but you do have to have an On My Mac address book. I made the On My Mac my default, created a group with one contact in it. Then I set my default address book back to my iCloud account and now I can edit distribution lists. It is a workaround but once setup everything seems to work fine and it just means I have to have one extra address book that I ignore.

Hope this helps.
