Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have been attempting to activate my new iPhone 4 for 3.5 hours. Been on phone with ATT and Apple, they say the activation server is overloaded. I would have thought there would be a lot more complaining in the media unless I am the only one? Apple did not expect a lot of activations today? Mr. Jobs would not be happy!
Mr. Jobs would understand. This happens EVERY TIME a NEW I PHONE is released. AT&T servers are being overloaded. You have to be patient. After all it is just a phone, not a cure for cancer.

I believe I have purchased at least 10 iPhones, never had it take this long to activate. The plug is going to wear with me attempting the connection through iTunes.
It's not Apple's fault. It's AT&T.
I haven't heard anything about Sprint or Verizon customers having problems.....
