Iphone 4S getting hot?

Has anyone else experiencing the Iphone 4S getting hot? I still have my iPhone 4 and boy the new iPhone 4S gets very hot. I'm doing a restore to see if that will change the problem or else will have to go return it!

Hmm, in my experience the phone should be cool for normal use, warm when charging, and warm when under heavy use.

A solution roundup:

- If eating through battery (a sign of that is being warm without being charging), do a settings -> network -> reset

- And / or, do a hard reset (hold down the power button for > 10 seconds, or hold power and home depending on the phone).

Even when my iphone 4s wasn't hot, it seemed to be eating through battery quickly. I did both of the above and now it's running very well.

I have spent 2 days workign through all this and finally found my issue. Not sure if it applies to everyone but the wifi keeps dropping and reconnecting. I was losing 1% battery every 5 minutes or so. I set up mine and my wife's 4s exactly the same. She went to work and had 100% even after playing music on the way in and I had 90%. This was after 40 minutes. I recharged mine to 100% turned my wifi off and now after over an hour I still have 100%. I work from home so I always leave wifi on so I don't use any of my cellular data plan. Not sure if this is a hardware or software issue but I am on hold with apple support and will le tyou know if I get any sort of answer.

But I would definitely say to turn you wifi off and see how your battery works. I also turned off the time zone, and any location services I wasn't using but my mail is on and siri is on as well as all my notifications.
