iTunes to iPhone "Unknown error 0xE800007F"

I have Wi-Fi Sync active and it works great unplugged from power -- but when I plug my phone into power and it starts syncing, iTunes says the following:

"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE800007F)."

Searching gives me zilch. Anyone have an ideas? Everything is running the latest verison of iOS, etc., etc...

I get this too.

I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 5 installed and latest version of iTunes.

I have WiFi sync and iCould sync enabled.

This seems to happen randomnly. For example, it happens when my iPhone is not plugged into a wall charger just as randomly when it is plugged into a wall charger.

Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. I do get successful syncs more often than it not working.

I should note, I am running on Windows 7 SP1 Pro SP1. I didn't realize this was a Mac forum.

After messing with it for 2 days, it is random for me. But seems to be at night. I can sync it by doing it via settings myself, but when plugged in at night, I wake up to the error message on my mac. I can manually sync it over the air and it works fine. This is with my 4S, 4, and iPad 2. They all do the same thing... will sync in the day just fine. For the fear of sounding stupid, its probably because the mac is going to sleep?

Just to add that i get the exact same thing. Itunes constantly wants the launch and connect with iphone wirelessly - error must be when iphone is asleep and itunes cant connect.

I Have wireless sync enabled - but to add what no-one else has yet - I'm able to wirelessly sync without being connected to a charger - ie truely wirelessly - which I beleive is not supposed to be able to happen. Error message goes away and itunes stops launching when i disable wireless sync option.

Same issue here. It happens randomly on both of our iPhones, my wife's and mine. Didn't happen on my iPad but I did get another error and the iPad disapeared from iTunes once, couldn't get the details and it has not happened anymore.

But in my case it is not random, it's constant, I have not been able to sync both iPhones or the iPad by connecting them to the power cable, they just give me that error or do nothing, I have to sync manually either from iTunes or the iPhones settings

iOS 5 on all devices, Win-7 64 bits, iTunes 10.5.0.142.

Just adding tot he chorus. Same exact error (0xE800007F). iTunes 10.5.0.142 running on Winows 7 64bit with an iPhone 4S that is up to date.

At times my iPhone will report that sync will resume once my PC is available. This even though my iPhone is connected to my home wireless network and my PC is powered on and running iTunes and my iPhone appears in the iTunes "Devices".

Sometimes closing iTunes and reopening it on my PC will fix this and allow a manual sync to be performed wirelessly. I've yet to have a successful automatic wireless sync occur even though I've ensure my PC is on and running iTunes with the iPhone listed in the Devices section and that my iPhone is connected to wireless and plugged into power.
