My photos uploaded to icloud show up on iphone 4s, PC, but not on ipad photo stream. All settings were checked correctly. Photos show up on Snapspeed App. on my ipad. Apparently icloud downloaded photos to my ipad, but photo stream on my ipad can not show the downloaded photos. (Photos show up about 5% of the time intermittently on ipad photo stream). I believe this an Apple software bug and I hope Apple will fix this problem soon. Upgrade to IOS 5.0.1 did not help this problem either. I'm surprised that Apple has not fixed this probelm yet.

I have a very similar problem. The photostream shows up on both our iphones and the ipad but not the imac. This is very annoying since the seamless icloud integration was for me the reason to buy an imac instead of a windows machine. Now it turns out that to get this to work I have to resort to typical windows tricks like checking and unchecking options and turning the computer on and off. On top of that, this does not work to solve the problem. I cannot download the photostream photos to the imac and now I am afraid that the photostream photos are deleted after 30 days. This whole Icloud thing is not going to catch on if you have to constantly worry if things that you store in the cloud are really there and if they will stay there.

When I take a picture on my 4s not all of the photos get uploaded.completly at random and I can not get them to upload. If take a new picture, they tend to get uploaded and the others stay in the phone only. I have turned off/on photostream on the phone, rebooted and turned it back on and nada. The pictures that didn't upload still stay local only.

Hello people!

I have an iPhone, an iPad and a Mac (with latest iPhoto)

I had the same problem: pictures were not being streamed to the iPad. but they were streamed to the iPhone and iPhoto (even the ones that I took with the iPad)

SOLUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME:

(as someone said here)

I disabled iMessenger. I closed all the Apps. and when i opened Photos, it started to download all photo streaming.

Then enabled iMessenger again and everything is working perfect now.

so weird though…

My iPad photostream was working and suddenly appeared blank. I tried several options including turning photos team off and on for both iPhone and iPad. The iPad photostream worked twice then suddenly was appearing empty again. The files seemed to be there but suddenly not visible. SOLUTION: Turning iMessage off and then on allowed the iPad photostream to suddenly appear again without time to re-sync. Something in the iMessage program seems to be conflicting with the photostream. All seems good again, at least for now. Note: I had previously also ended up with two photostreams on my iPhone after changing my Apple ID from my .me account to gmail. The .me photostream must be deactivated and deleted before creating a new photostream with another account. However, you must have at least one photo in the .me photostream before deactivating it or the empty folder remains as a second photostream and conflicts the sync with the new photostream folder.
