I appreciate that but it needs to be switched to ' back up to iCloud '. Why does it work on my iPhone n iPod touch when I haven't got "back up to iCloud 'configured on them?

Photo Stream was only working sporadically for me with iPhone 4/Aperture, tried all the numerous fixes listed in this thread but I think what worked for me was changing my MTU.

It was set at 1500 on my router but I reduced it to 1432, shortly after that Photo Stream started syncing correctly.

Weirdly, when I manually added JPG pictures (small, less than 150k) to the Camera Roll they went to Photo Stream but photos taken in various camera apps would never get uploaded. Which leads me to believe it was an MTU issue for me.

Thanks. As soon as I turned on cloud backup and did a backup my photos streamed to my iPad again. Strange how my iPhone and mac still worked

Ok, I have another aspect to this annoying problem - I have 258 photos in my photo stream on my iPhone 4. This syncs pretty well with my iMac so no probes there. When I try and sync with my brand new new iPad, that's when the fun really starts. For some stupid reason I only have 21 photos. I have tried turning photo stream on and off on the iPad. I have 95% battery level, I have used different accounts, I have made sure iCloud is on backup - I have done everything everyone here has said, but I still only have 21 out of 258 photos showing up. To be fair, the most recent ones come through fine, but I don't think that is the point. I thought that whatever was in one spot automatically appeared in another. Am I mistaken? Can someone please shed some light on this for me?

Here's another. I took a bunch of photos today, and sat watching my photostream doing nothing. I had my iPhone and my MBP on wireless, photostream turned on, iPhone backed up to iCloud, iPhone charged to 95%. No activity. Photostream off/photostream on. Nothing. Then I simply unplugged my phone from the computer, and voila, pictures streaming...

Guys and gals, it has Nothing to do with battery level. And the phone should not be plugged into computer. That's why it's called STREAM... not CONNECTED. And of course, photostream must be turned ON on the device. If all parameters are set up, it works fine.

I have an iphone 4 and iPad 2. All my settings look correct, iCloud on on both, photo stream on on both, backup to cloud on and done, battery charged, but photo stream will send photos from the iPad to the phone, but will not send from the phone to the iPad.

I did a hard shutdown of my phone (simultaneously press and hold the home and power buttons until the screen turns black) and then turned it back on and Photostream is working again.

Would you try disabiling restrictions.

Did several reboots and some other things people did. After disabling restrictions all the images appeared.

Still not working. iCloud is on the CPU, on at the phone, phone has a full battery, connected to outlet AND wifi. Still nothing. I placed a photo in each folder on computer, and did not receive from CPU. And CPU has not received anything from phone

Ok, how do you disable them ? Mine are password protected, and you guessed it.... I can't remember the password. Lmao
