iTunes Match Freezes in Step 2
After multiple attempts, iTunes Match continues to freeze in Step 2. It states 1251 songs checked 0 items remaining. Any suggestions as to how to resolve this issue?

So...
1. Clean up your files. ensure that the apple match server can recoginze them. Remember, it cannot hear the songs, only the meta-tags.
Just the opposite.
iTunes Match does not use any info in the meta-tags.
It uses ONLYthe audio fingerprint.
