Bluetooth stereo headset doesn't work with iPhone Music in iOS 5

I have a iPhone 3GS and I used a Jabra BT620s stereo bluetooth headset to listen to mustic for years. Now, with the update to iOS 5, it doesn't work with iTunes. In fact, it disconnects randomly and often won't stay connected. I see the bluetooth symbol blink and go solid, then turn gray again. And when it does stay solid, iTunes (the new Music app) won't give me the little output selection button/icon to say to play music over the headset.

I pared the same headset with my new 4GS, and it also won't work with Music, though I can make calls and talk to Siri just fine. What did iOS 5 break?!? I play almost all my music through this headset, and I am not going to be happy if I have to downgrade my 3GS back to iOS 4.x just to listen to music and podcasts.

Just to clarify some things.

I also did a lot of paring and such... this did not hep anything,

The "usb" cable that comes with the BT620s is not really a USB cable because it only has the two wires for charging and not the 4 required for communication. When I connect the headset to my Mac with a real cable I don't see anything happen but I can see it in the USB device list which is found through the "About this Mac" then "More Info" and then "System Report".

Also when I am running a virtual XP instance, it detects the device when it's plugged in.

lastly, I did not pay anything for this update.

I just got my Jabra BT620s headset a few days ago. It worked great the first time I used it with my 3GS phone but, the second day, I had the same connection problems others described when I tried to use it again. I could talk on the phone with the headset and I could use the headset buttons to change music tracks, but the music would only come out of the phone itself and the phone did not have an output selection for me to choose the headset. I realized that the only thing different about the first day was that I had connected it after it was fully charged, so I plugged it in and let it get to a full charge again. After that, it connected immediately and stayed connected. Just tried it again (the third day) and it is working just fine. I have had several battery issues with the phone since I upgraded to iOS 5, so maybe the Jabra battery issue is related to the phone battery issues.

Hello, i have iPhone 6 Plus and tried to pair my Jabra BT620s with it and my Macbook Pro also, and it didn't work out.

In my iPhone 6 Plus i can talk and answer through my Jabra Headphones, but not listen to the music, my iTunes, radio, nothing.

With my Macbook Pro (mid 2014) it doesn't work anything.

Someone out there with a solution. I have the latest software on both units.

Thanks a lot
