Hello everyone
I've been facing a SMS ringtone problem since ios5. When i recieve a SMS or imessage, it rings sequential twice or even more. (Just like when you recieve two sms at the same time)
If I restart my iphone, this problem disappears for sometime. It comes a while after, though.
Is it a bug or something? It's really annoying.

Go to Settings - Messages and disable iMessage. You will lose this feature but this helps some people to get rid of the ringtone problem
its already kept on Disable mode😁

Yes Seems like fixed. At the moment sms sounds ok.
I remember solving this a while ago with a setting.
Now in 5.1.1, I looked again. Try this:
Settings > Notifications > Messages > Repeat Alert - set to Never.
I haven't tried it yet.
