How can I get the plus and edit Keyes back on the contacts screen?
iPad 2, iOS 5
From the iOS 5 iPad manual :
Add a contact on iPad: Tap Contacts and tap +. If + isn’t visible, make sure you’re not viewing an LDAP, CalDAV, or GAL contacts list; you can’t add contacts to those.
I have the same problem. Is there a fix
Try resetting the device. Hold down the home and sleep key, past the power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it restart and see if that fixes it.
Nope that didn't work.
Here is the history of this: this iPad is my mother in law's. I did the initial sync through my Mac because she does not own a computer. No contacts or music or any other items were synced.
Contacts were added to the iPad by mailing the contacts to her and adding them one at a time.
Everything worked fine until iOS 5, now I don't know how to add contacts or even delete the contacts.
Go to settings. Select iCloud. Turn on contacts so they wii back up to the cloud. Your plus key will now be where it belongs.
Thanks that did it. :)
