Name on iCloud email not my name

Name on iCloud email not my name

I set up an iCloud email when I updated to ios 5. When is send an email from this account it shows up on the receivers end with one of my parents names In the from section. They were probably the person that set up my account way back when I started using iTunes. I have checked my apple I'd info and it all says my name. I have also gone on the iCloud settings and all the name fields say my name. When I look at it on my iPad in a different email it shows my parents name in inbox but when I actually go into the email it says my name because I added into my contacts. Any ideas on how to fix this? Has this been a problem with MobileMe in the past

I pretty sure I figured it out not sure how I missed this before. If you go to settings.icloud.account.mail you cam change the name associated with your new iCloud .me account.

Hmmmm.....try going into your computer, open your Mail application, go to preferences, select Accounts, and see what name is associated with that particular email account. If your parents set up a MobileMe account way back when, their name may have been entered in your original mail preferences account settings. Probably a long-shot.
