How do I connect dual link dvi to hdmi so I can use my TV as a monitor?

I have tried to google this for some time and have gotten nothing but conflicting responses. I have a 15" macbook pro with a dual link dvi port. I want to connect it to the hdmi port on my HDTV. What do I need to make that happen?

Is there actually an adapter from dual link dvi to hdmi or will I need multiple devices for this?

thank you,

John

Hi there,

Thanks for the response...I think I have a 2007 version. My output is the DVI-I. It looks like maybe the dvi-i male to hdmi female might work? I don't see much in the way of dvi-i, there are more dvi-d around it appears.

This or many others like it will work, then a standard HDMI cable.
