Any luck setting up iCloud on Android?
I've switched over to iCloud and now my Samsung Sidekick won't work with my Mac email. Anyone sorted this out yet?

Mail is a normal Imap account and is no problem to setup, for Contacts and Calendars you need Dav clients, two that I have used succesfully are SmoothSync for Cloud Contacts and SmoothSync for Cloud Calendars. Look in the Android store, they are not free.
Thank you, Csound1. In reading this thread I saw that people have had issues with the appleID and me.com. My apple ID is iCloud.com. Do you know if that will that be problematic? Will I need to change ID?
I have had no issues with ID, I use @mac, but the other 2 work as well. Use whatever you currently use to login at www.icloud.com.
Are there any solutions using username@icloud.com? It seems that @me.com has been phased out. I have tried setting it using the instructions found here but the server info is wrong.
I tried to look up server info through my icloud mail as I would with say gmail but could not find any access to such information. Any ideas?
I finally got me or icloud emails to work seamlessly on my HTC desire android. They are as follows
Firstly I changed my apple ID to a combination of 8 with 2 numbers 1 capital and 5 lower case then
User name .....@me.com
Imap mail.me.com
Security ssl
Port 993
Outgoing server
Tick log in required
User name ....@me.com
Smtp
Smtp.mail.me.com
Security type
TLS
Port 587
You may need SSL but this didn't work on mine so I simply used TLS and changed the automated port setting to the above.
Hope this helps and also works for you

Good advice but .... I think that you changed your password, not your ID.
Apologies yes it was my password not my ID and thanks for picking it up

You're welcome.
Worked just like you said for me. Thank you so much! This issue has been doing my sanity in for quite a while.

Csound1 and Austiniter, IT WORKED!!!! The keys for me were:
- Change my passowrd even though the one I had was laready compliant.
- I had to set the security to None.
- I had to use smtp.me.com without the ".mail."
Thank you very much.
You're welcome
After much searching at Android Central and the rest of the Internet and trying just about everything, I finally changed my already compliant Apple ID Password at Apple, as suggested by the Csound1 post, and then proceeded to once again set up iCloud email on my Verizon Galaxy S3. Oh My, it now works. I'm guessing that trying to get a rational explination from Apple would be an exercise in futility. Oh well.
Don't waste time guessing 🙂 it works.
I used the settings by followtechnology shown on page 10 of this post on my nexus 4 and it worked perfectly.
I have the @icloud.com domain.
My Samsung Galaxy Proclaim had been working fine with my iCloud mail account and then it quit working. I've scoured the web looking for a solution but to no avail. Using the setup guidelines posted in this thread, I get the message "Unable to Connect to Server" when I attempt to finish the setup. If SSL is chosen, the message also says "Expected 000a but got 000d". If I choose TLS, the message says "java.net.ConnectExeption: imap.mail.me.com/ ..... Connection refused."
Any thoughts? I'm about to take my Android skeet shooting -- PULL!
This one worked for me. Brilliant!
