Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Why the heck not apple just let us sync freely with wifi and bluetooth!!??

The new iOS 5 boast a wifi sync, but only when you plugged it in. They might think it's a pretty smart *** thing, but I'm sorry, not every one thinks the same.

My laptop is the powersource for my ipod, so when I plugged in, when the hk I need wifi for fk sake? And the bluetooth is almost useless unless you have a headset. And the stupid news stand which I can move it into folder like others(yeah yeah I know it is a "folder" itself, still) I really don't like the way apple always try to teach its users how to do sth rather than just let users utilize the functionality in their own way. I think I might switching to sth else if nothing changes in the next 2 years.

iPod touch, Windows Vista

Actually that isn't true, and a review made the mistake of saying so.

2. Wi-Fi Sync requires power

.......

Update: My bad. You do not need a power source to sync over Wi-Fi. Rather, automatic syncing happens when there's a power connection. I misread the description in the iOS 5 settings. What's more, Wi-Fi syncing wasn't working for me until I enabled it in iTunes.

Actually, it's nice that Wi-Fi syncing works in the background, meaning you can continue using your iDevice while it does its thing, but the power requirement is just plain annoying.
