I can't seem to get the weather to show up in the notifications? I have got the full weather+ version but it still doesn't show up. Do I need to use a certain weather app or is there a setting I need to change somewhere?

I have tried to put it in the notifications in the settings menu but the weather app doesn't even show up, and before anyone asks I have tried a soft and hard reset, a uninstall and reinstall of the weather app but still no joy.

All and any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated indeed.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks for the replies. You would of thought that they would've made the notifications upgrade the same for both iPad and iPhone but they can't get everything right. Maybe they will update the iPad version of notifications sooner rather than later as I really could do with the weather being there do I don't have to keep opening up the app.  Cheers anyway peeps.  Paul

Currently, Apple hasn't opened the "widget" function up to third party apps. As there is no Apple Weather app included in the iPad version of iOS, there is, at this time, no way to get weather in the Notification Center. Sorry.

iOS 5 has its own built in weather app on the iPhone with notifications, but not on the iPad. You cannot opt in a developer's weather app into the notifications AFAIK.

Yeah, there are some differences in the version of iOS between various devices. I, too, would love to have weather in the Notifications Center.

Then why does my 3rd party local news tv stations app work in the swipe down notification?

Perhaps because something has changed since last October when this thread was last active?
