My iPhone 4s phone call failed more than 50% times, some times people can't hear my voice, is there anybody else has same problem?
Nobody else? Am I the only unluck one?
Looks like it. Call Apple or take to an Apple store nd get it replaced.
I was on the phone last night in the same position i was last week with my iphone 3g and i seem to be having that problem too? what model and colour have you got?.
My signal seems to be 4 bars but still says call failed?
Well, my signal is full too, I have the newest iphone 4s, white ,16gb.
& its nothing to do with the "deathgrip" either my mom just rang up her friend with it holding it from the back & it cut out after 4 minutes, ive got the black 16gb 4s, im just puzzled?!
Hi i'm having the exact same problem with my iphone 4s.
50% of the time i try to make a call i get call failed after 2-3 ring tones.
i'm in UK , on Orange.
Hi, I'm having the exactly same issue on at&t.
iPhone 4S 32GB, AT&T. Many call failures, including on our MicroCell at home. Not good.
Me and all 4 people in my house have all versions of the Iphone 4S on verizon and none of us have received any dropped calls since friday. I would strongly suggest taking it to apple if you are seeing dropped calls 50% of the time while 2+ bars, could be a defective phone. If you have 2 or less bars then could be expected behavior.
I'm having this problem for the first time tonight! talked to AT&T support for hour didn't solve the problem. First we did airplane mode, network reset, Then hard reset by holding the home button+off button, none of those worked so tech guy told me to bring back to best buy for simswap. I couldn't wait till tomorrow I went ahead and reset to factory setting. It worked couple times, then call failed again! Got ****** turn off wifi And it automatically go bAck to 3G. Then I charged the phone up for a while and stArt making calls again and it worked like normal. So I suspect it has to do something with wifi/3G at home. If I run into the problem again I will definitely exchange for new one. I'm kinda ****** now cuz I cannot show bestbuy guys the problem I run into tonight. Yes you are not the only one who have this problem. Apple and AT&T should resolve this problem since people have been experiencing this type of thing for last couple of year. Maybe i5 will not having the same issue :)
I don't know if the problem caused by AT&T, I went to the AT&T store, they said they have no idea about that , I was told should go to the apple store which is far from me, well, I think I have to make a travel to apple, because the problem get worse.
I've had the problem, too, but not with 50% of my calls. I've made about 6 calls where nothing happens on my end, but the callee's phone rings. The call looks like a regular call on the screen, but I don't hear the ring or the answer, and the person I'm calling doesn't hear anything after answering. I repeat the call and everything works fine on the second try.
I'm on Verizon, using a black 64GB 4S, and did not have this problem with my old phone.
I have exactly the same problem on AT&T. Plus, many times my 4S will decided I need to be on speaker phone instead of wired headset.
Same problem here in Austria, Vienna! I'm using a 32GB iPhone 4s. Many outgoing calls are looking regular, the connection seems to be established, the time counter is counting, but i cant hear anything. Incoming calls working well. The problem only occurs on outgoing calls! My wife's iPhone 4, also on iOS5 and the same provider doesn't have this problem.
Did anybody get it replaced or repaired? I still haven't had time to go to apple store, if somebody did, I want to know how they solve the problem?
