iPhone iOS5 - How to turn off ALL notifcations overnight, but leave phone ON?

Hey all:

I really like the new notification center and all, but I've found a small issue with how I do things..... Since my phone is my alarm, I sleep with it right by my head and I don't want buzzes from Facebook or emails or such. However, I don't want to go to airplane mode so that someone could still call me if there's an emergency.

I used to do this with iOS4:

1. > Settings > Notifications > OFF and

2. > Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Turn Push to OFF, and Fetch to Manual

With iOS5, I can still do # 2, but #1 really isn't there anymore. As I understand it, I'd have to go to the screen for a whole mess of individual apps to turn off their notifications.

Does anyone else have a better way to do this? Basically, I want the PHONE on and everything else OFF.

Thanks!!!!!

iPhone 4, iOS 4.2.7

Ahhhh I just upgraded and was looking for it like crazy. I live in a country 8 hours ahead of my friends, family and girlfriend. If I don't turn notifications off I get all the what's app groups messages, FB, e-mail, etc. while they are awake and I'm sleeping. If it vibrates it wakes me up. I still want to receive them on time. First thing I do in the morning is check everything I got while asleep. I still need wifi on because I use VOIP and Skype to receive any emergency call.

Before, I used to set the alarm every night, turn notifications off and done. Did you find anything to solve this?

This is going to sound a little unrefined and NOT technical, but here's something that works for me. I use a program called Sunrise Alarm as my alarm clock. Even when the phones in vibrate mode, it will make the quiet sounds setup in the app to wake you up. So I put the phone in vibrate mode and plug it in next to my head on my nightstand.

To keep the vibrations throught the night from waking me up, I just set the phone on something soft. My wife has a doily thing underneath the lamp that's a thick cloth. When the phone is on a soft surface the vibrations don't seem to make enough noise to bother me.

Hole this helps somebody....
