Despite your shouting and horrible font, the answer is to go to icloud.com, click on your account settings, then advanced and reset Photostream.

There is a way around deleting all photos although I have done it for the iPhone not an iPad but I'm guessing it will probably work equally as well.

From the Photostream App, click on the top-right icon. This takes you into edit mode. Tap on the photos you want to keep and then at the bottom, click on save. This puts the saved photos back into the camera roll as though you'd just taken them. Then follow the guidelines for turning off Photostream from iCloud and from your device. Hope this helps.

after trying the above mentioned solution - and i'm very sure i followed the steps correctly...i am now faced with the photostream folder in photos full of the 800 and something photos but in a greyed out box with JPG or PNG written across it..

tried restarting...repeating the solutions above...etc no use...the photos are still shown in that folder as a grey box and when i save it to camera roll it shows up in camera roll as the original picture...defeats the whole purpose of deleting it?

please help! thanks!

I had a similar problem when I followed the steps above on my iPad and iPhone. Everything was deleted: iCloud and iPhone, but the photos stubbornly remained on iPad. I repeated the steps. iPad would still not delete. So I wnet into iTune and manually managed my photos, selecting only an old folder which had been there before Photostream. Magically, the photostream photos disappeared.

It's worth a try.

Good Luck!

I just turned off photo stream on iPhone and iPad then hooked up to my computer and when the box comes up to import photos, I import them . When the box comes up to name the folder there is an advanced setting and choose delete photos after copied. I did this for both devises and poof all pics were gone. I can now create a folder on my computer with the photos I want and delete the ones I no longer want to keep. Then I choose that folder to sync back to devise and there you have it. :)
