Reminders/To do list on desktop
With the arrival of iCloud, is there a way of permanently showing reminders/to-do list on OS X Lion desktop?
Presumably this would remain in sync with my iPhone.
Thanks.

There's an app called GeekTool (currently in version 3.3) that let's you place certain objects (incl. date, time, RAM, reminders etc.) on your desktop screen. There's a community behind that app that create geeklets (small Applescript scripts) that let you place things on your desktop.
Attached you'll find a screenshot of my desktop, showing the time halfway submerged by a second layer of the masked wallpaper.

I would like to know something about this. Is there a program Reminders for Lion107?
The Reminders list is in iCal
"The Reminders list is in iCal"
I am aware of this, I am actually looking for a standalone list, remaining permenantly on the desktop (which does not require opening iCal).
One solution I found involved using Geektool. Unfortunately, this solution is crap.
If any developers are reading this, take note!
Yes, it would be better to have a standalone app. I've been struggling with the Mail Todo vs iCal Reminders. To bad nothing like Covey system that integrates with everything. Nice to be able to stay on top of projects.
You could try the program called "Things" at culturecode.com
It works on the mac and iphone / ipad
I have added Reminders to my log in list under System Preferences and it opens every time I boot up and stays on my desktop. You can minimize the side bar so just the list shows. Works perfectly for me and does sync automatically.
