iTunes WiFi Sync

I was just curious if it was possible or if anyone has been succesfully able to sync music over wifi while "Manually manage music and video" option is checked on the iPhone. I am syncing from my iPhone (iOS 5) to my imac (iTunes 10.5) through wifi. I am only able to sync "Apps and Photos" when the manual manage is checked. I am, however, able to sync everything, music and all, when manual mode is unchecked. But what I really want is to be able to sync through wifi with manual on. Thanks, and I hope that wasnt too confusing.
