Transfer ultraviolet digital copy dvd to iTunes, not Flixster?

Got Horrible Bosses on Blu-Ray and instead of a digital copy that downloads automatically to iTunes, they have this new "ultraviolet" digital copy that only downloads to some stupid thing called Flixster Collections, which basically tries to be like iTunes for movies, but is way ******** and less convenient.

ANYWAY, the point is, I want to watch it on iTunes. Is there a way to do it? --- I'm pretty worried the answer is no, since I googled it and came back with nothing, but I thought I'd ask ----

Should be clearly stated it´s not an iTune product besides the apple logo which is misleading.(mine is Gatsby)

As stated I understood I bought an iTune film.

Beside this is there a way to ripp the DVD then load it on iTunes as it´ feasible for music CDs? (I paid for this...)

A couple of people have brought up an interesting point... there are some new Blu Ray releases that state on the front that they contain UV duigital copies but nowhere on the cover do they seem to have the warning that they're not iTunes compatible.

Personally I'm no longer buying Blu Rays - iroinically all the hassle over this has made me re-evaluate and by the time I've driven to the store to get the latest release it's actually working out more cost effective to just forgo the physical media and buy via iTunes, ok so I don't get all the extras (though iTunes Extras is going in the right direction) but then I don't always have time to watch all the guff anyway so in their effort to force us all onto UV the studios are actually doing more damage to those who continue to produce and sell the physical media.

However when I am out and about I have been looking at the boxes... which is how I noticed the "Not iTunes compatible" message has been missing from some movies (assuming it hasn't been hiden by the store's price label).

OK, I don't want to have to use an app OTHER than iTunes. Let's not play semantics. I want all my stuff to be in the same place, & for me, that place is iTunes.

Yes, this is what this thread is about.

Don't purchase DVDs unless it states it is iTunes compatible.

It's exactly the same as buying Windows software and complaining it doesn't work on a Mac.

No, you can't remove iTune, it´s not an app, it´s the iOS media manager.

By the way, two effective answers on my question "how to rip DVD to put in iTune ?" have been removed, what´s wrong with this ?

Well, the subject here is not mixing OS, it's having one media purchase working in the native environment, iOS embedding a store while Windows doesn't, so any comparison is sterile.

Again this specificity of iOS implies that the digital media copy should be clearly stated as part of iTunes or not if branded as "iOS compatible" .

This causes an issue with AppleTV, the day a laptop software won't work with my mouse would be a major issue.

Regarding Flixter, Airplay mirroring should work (haven't tried yet) ?
