Transfer ultraviolet digital copy dvd to iTunes, not Flixster?

Got Horrible Bosses on Blu-Ray and instead of a digital copy that downloads automatically to iTunes, they have this new "ultraviolet" digital copy that only downloads to some stupid thing called Flixster Collections, which basically tries to be like iTunes for movies, but is way ******** and less convenient.

ANYWAY, the point is, I want to watch it on iTunes. Is there a way to do it? --- I'm pretty worried the answer is no, since I googled it and came back with nothing, but I thought I'd ask ----

I agree. Apple has a lot of weight and they should be throwing it around. They do it with Flash. Steve's stance has always been if it hurts the user experiance he did not want to support it on his products. Well UV kills the user experiance. I have actually tried to get ahold of someone at iTunes support to beg them to do something but I can't seem to get routed right. If any one from Apple monitors this if they decided to block all UV content until Hollywood starts to play ball I am all for it.

Agreed uv digital is a waste of time and resources by wb and the studios that embrace it but I think that wb can learn from universal yea universal does uv but they also give you an iTunes digital download so they are listening I've submitted 3 tickets all three of them said I'd be mailed discs and of the 3 I've received 1 disc so far and now have about 3 more wb titles that I will be screaming for digital copy discs for as well

Has anyone had any luck getting codes out of Sony (Smurfs, Friends With Benefits, Moneyball, Ides of March) yet???? WB has been pretty cool about it cause with Crazy Stupid Love & Bad Teacher they gave me a code for each worth $15 in credit, with Green Hornet and HP part 2 they gave me codes for the movie, and with Hangover 2 they said they'd send me a disc (still waiting).

If you're not getting a response from your tickets, try having your request sent to a different email address. I had submitted a total of ten requests on two discs over the course of a month and never heard anything back. On my latest attempt, instead of entering my comcast address, I used my gmail address. In less than 5 minutes, I had responses and the ball was rolling.

At no time did an email from them show up either in my spam filter or the server side spam filter, so I get the feeling that comcast is killing anything from Flixter before it even has a chance to get to your mailbox. It's possible this is true for other providers as well.

They have an iOS app now, so that approach might not work anymore. However, I just opened a ticket ( http://support.ultraviolet.flixster.com/ics/support/SRSplash.asp ) and complained that I couldn't watch it on my apple tv and that was the only reason I purchased the digital copy. To my complete surprise I had a response within 5 minutes with the iTunes code. It saved me the trouble of having to rip my dvd using handbrake. I also got the propaganda email saying how awesome this new uv thing is.

Ah ok yea they did the same for me as well alas they have now made it a point wih every NEW release to state that they will not provide us with iTunes files sad for Warner not for me though because as I told a person as to whom I spoke with in their customer service department regarding the matter I will not purchase another title from them until they stop stealing for the customerand listen to what the consumer has to say
