Apple Cards application checkout issue!

Hi there,

I have the Apple Cards application; and I'm ready to process the order and it stops me at the checkout sequence.

It provides me with the following alert


"There is not enough information in your account to process the order."

Please go to Settings -> Store to update your account info.


I've tried everything from changing the billing information; and it still doesn't work.

May you please assist with this issue?

Is the program not avaialble for Canadians?

Where do we complain? I wanted to send a card for my mom's birthday, I'm a student and want to keep track of my purchases. Had to get my dad to send me a gift card as I was out, I need to send thisthing today, if I want it to be on time. Have been trying all day, making sure that my account name, billing adress and return adress where the same, and still it didn't work. APPLE NEEDS TO FIX THIS! To all out there, who have the same problem as Webbster, and me. It might be easier to just send a card yourself, if Apple doesn't fix this SOON!


For all of our sake lets hope Apple employees reed these threads, and find out what is wrong!

Does the Apple Cards available for India? I'm trying to send a Card within India and the same error, "Please update your account, there is not enough information in your account to process the order. Please go to settings > store to update your account info" keeps occuring even after updating the address as it is in both Cards app and the store. Please help me out with this problem.

I live in Italy and I correctly purchased 2 cards, so far, paid with an AmEx card.


I have a different issue: I cannot rate the app. When I try, I get the message "you must purchase or download this app in order to rate it". This happens both on the iPhone and on the Mac.


I tried to remove the app (both from the iPhone and iTunes) and then download and reinstall it, but this did not fixed the issue.

I have the same exact issue, error message asking me to update my account info, after asking for the CVV number.


Oddly, within the same couple of days I was able to purchase Steve Jobs book via iBooks, directly from my iPhone, and 5 iTunes songs directly from my iPhone. But not a Card from the card app.


I spent an hour with a Genius who couldn't figure it out and suggested I tried restoring the phone.


I've tried reinstalling the app, restoring the phone, and nothing has changed.


Now what?

I just had an idea.

Sometime in the past two years, they changed the rules for creating an Apple ID password.

Currently you have to have a minimum of 8 characters, including at least one number, one capitalized letter and one lower-case letter.

I have an old password that is only six letters.

What does everyone else have? Does someone want to test this?

I refuse to change my password to find out.

Same issue here. can buy anything other then the cards. checked with my Credit card company and they confirmed its not them its apple. Mark 280 - i have the complex password, so its not that. Have also removed readded my credit card, changed my name, address etc. nothing has worked so far.


Apple is simply loosing revenue on this because there is 12 cards I have wanted to send, hallmark got my business instead.
