Apple Cards application checkout issue!

Hi there,

I have the Apple Cards application; and I'm ready to process the order and it stops me at the checkout sequence.

It provides me with the following alert


"There is not enough information in your account to process the order."

Please go to Settings -> Store to update your account info.


I've tried everything from changing the billing information; and it still doesn't work.

May you please assist with this issue?

Is the program not avaialble for Canadians?

FINALLY found a fix, at least for the BUY button issue. (When you click it, nothing happens).


My husband realized that all the people complaining about this were people who had used cards previously and liked it. There is a bug when updating from the previous version to the new version when there is old data (old cards) stored in the old app.


The fix is to fully uninstall the app. Then reinstall it. You will lose all your old cards, but the new app will work. I did this on both my iphone and ipad that were having the issue.

I found a solution to this issue. For some reason you cannot fix this error via your iPhone's settings. You must login to your account on Apple's Store webpage. http://store.apple.com/us


Then go to your account homepage, and then "Update Express Checkout Settings". Turn on Express Checkout, you may also need to update your shipping address. After enabling Express Checkout, I was able to order through Cards. Very frustrating you cannot do it via your iPhone's settings, as it suggests.

In my case it doesn't ask me to update any credit card information...the problem is a bit different. I do the checkout, it says Authorising Purchase...and then suddenly everything goes back to the previous screen where my saved cards are. It doesn't do the Card Processing thing neither I receive a confirmation about the placement of my order...so I don't know if my cards have been processed and if they haven't what the problem is. I checked my bank account and I haven´t been charged either... Has anyone had a similar problem?

I know this post is old, but I had this problem and this was the first thing that came up in the google search. I found a solution to the problem of the Cards app saying the credit card was declined even though it worked everywhere else(music, books, etc...). I went to itunes, then my account. My account was set up to pay Apple through PayPal, i switched it to a credit card and then I was able to purchase and send the card. A pain in the ***, but it works. Hopefully Apple will fix this issue.
